Yonghwi Kwon, Ph.D.
BIOGRAPHY
Hi! I'm Yonghwi Kwon, or you can call me Daniel. I received Ph.D. in Feb., 2023, from KAIST, EE, advised by Youngsoo Shin. I am recipient of 2022 SPIE Nick Cobb scholarship, 2021 IEEE TSM BPA, 2020 GLSVLSI BPC, and outstanding dissertation award. I am also author of 19 peer-reviewed international publications.
I also love traveling around the world✈️, going to gym🏋️♂️, and taking photos📸.
✈️I will be joining in Synopsys (Sunnyvale, CA) as a R&D engineer in July 2023.✈️
My main research area is
1) Machine learning-guided physical design
2) Machine learning-based computational lithography
3) DTCO with adopting computational lithography into physical design
